This puzzle didn't feel like a Colin Thompson... Maybe it's because it has sky and the mountain and green had little details... Anyway, I did enjoy it but I just wanted to say it felt different. OUR PUZZLE ROOM! This is how our puzzle room look OUR PUZZLE ROOM! This is how our puzzle room looks right now! The smaller ones are on the top and, in the middle we have the 1000 piece puzzles and on the bottom the 1500-3000 pieces. We also have a surprise puzzle shelf - we buy puzzles and wrap them so we don't remember the image. Sometimes I can't really choose a puzzle, or just want a surprise and I will pick one of these puzzles! We don't have more space... So, I am leaving the new puzzles at the living room under the puzzle tables! For a while, I've been thinking the shelves look a "bit" cluttered... When we move to the new 🏡 I will have a new puzzle room and my new project is to get new shelves/libraries that look nice! 🆘 HELP! 🆘 If you have ideas, suggestions or advice of how to organize our new room or what shelves/libraries to get... The last 2-3 months have been an emotional 🎢 ro The last 2-3 months have been an emotional 🎢 roller-coaster! From stress at work (I work at a hospital), one of our dog veing depressed, looking for a 🏡 and dealing with banks (we never thought this would be so difficult and slow), my migraines coming back.... I got to a point were I needed to rest a Jose Luis took over this account for a while. We got so many messages wishing cheering me up! They really did it!!!! Puzzle Community is incredible, it's so nice to have so many people support you and that you can reach out and they are willing to hear you. Thanks to all of you for the messages and the chats 😘! Also, I want to specially thank my friend Jana (@janule.ok) who send me this wonderful suprise. A puzzle from her beautiful city Prague and this lovely message. After a busy Saturday home, I needed to relax. I w After a busy Saturday home, I needed to relax. I was planning on puzzling for maybe an hour... But they turned into two 😱! I was having so much fun, putting together each message, that I completely lost track of time. My two favorites messages are "Skirts are not too short, life is" and "Smile at strangers". 2020 gave us so much too think about and learn. Life is short and enjoy each moment, spend quality time with your loved ones, and don't take anyone or anything for granted (even your health) are the three lessons from this year that we value the most, and we are practicing as much as we can! Miguel and Pablo said they are tired of living in a metropolis and they want to move fast to their new house on the mountains! Han llegado los Reyes (y una Reina Maga tambien ☺️)!!! Para los que no saben, en España la fiesta más importante de esta temporada es la llegada de los Reyes Magos. Se celebra con la cabalgata de los Reyes Magos el 5 de enero, y hoy por la mañana se abren los regalos que ellos te han dejado a media noche y se come el Roscon de Reyes. Que sopresa me he llevado! Parece ser que este año he sido muy, muy buena y me han traído muchos regalitos! Los reyes han adivinado lo que quería y me han traído un atril para que ponga mis tableros de puzzles y no me duela el cuello (donde has estado todo este tiempo?🤔), dos Puzzles Imposibles que me hacian falta en la colección de @puzzlestumecompletas y el de Ikea, que cuando lo fui a comprar estaba agotado 😅. Tambien ha pasado una Reina Maga muy especial y nos ha traido un puzzle hermosisimo que hace tiempo queria, el Kandinsky panoramico (esta edición es fabulosa) , de @puzzlesmagin y nuestro primer regalo para la 🏡, que esperamos poder mudarnos pronto. Ahhhh, Jose Luis ha insistido que os mostrara el juego de la Playstation que le han traído los reyes, The Last of Us II. Que dice que es el Juego del Año y q es una pasada. Sinceramente, de esto no entiendo... Pero en esta casa cada uno tiene su hobby, solo que el mío ocupa mucho espacio 😂😂😂 Que puedo decir, han sido unos reyes y reina mag@s muy puzzleros! 📈 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗦 📉 T 📈 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗦 📉 This has been a very exciting year in puzzle terms; we completed our 2020 goal - 100,000 pieces - and our collection has grown to over a thousand puzzles! In 2020 we have done: 🔸113 puzzles 🔸101,518 pieces This year we have done more puzzles and put together the most pieces during the time we've been keeping track. 🧩 Per month: April we puzzled the most: 17 puzzles, 14350 pieces. 🧩 Per piece count: 66 of the puzzles were 1000 pieces, followed by 20 of 500 pieces and 5 of 1500. 🧩 Per brand: 1º Ravensburger (18 puzzles), 2º Educa (14), and 3º Clementoni (11), they are also the brands we have more puzzles in our collection. 🧩 This year we have done puzzles by 32 brands, and 11 were new to us - many of them surprised us! 🧩 The new brands: We had round puzzles (Blue Kazoo), piece cuts that added difficulty (Sulo Puzzle), the exciting Advent Calendar (Gibsons), iridescent (Wave Puzzle), and even with a velvet touch (Art & Fable). 🧩 You can also find our favorite brands for this year: @eeboopieceandlove, @cloudberriesofficial, @eurographicspuzzles, @artandfablepuzzles, @gibsons_puzzles, @puzzlemichelewilson, @cobblehillpuzzles, @pintoo.tw, @sulo.puzzle and @trefl_toys. 🧩By the end of 2020 we have 1115 puzzles, 488 are done and 627 remain in our to-do pile, so you will be seeing us here a while... ➡️ Special shout out to @doublezpuzzles for making amazing puzzle stats and giving us the idea to make ours with charts!!
